Infertility

What Is Infertility?
Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after one year of regular, unprotected intercourse. It can be caused by issues in either partner, or sometimes by a combination of both. Today, modern medicine offers a wide range of effective diagnostic and treatment options for infertility.
Causes
Common causes include:
• In women: ovulation disorders, blocked fallopian tubes, endometriosis, or uterine abnormalities
• In men: low sperm count, poor motility, or abnormal sperm morphology
• Hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, stress, obesity, smoking, and alcohol consumption
Diagnosis and Treatment
Treatment begins with identifying the underlying cause. Depending on the findings, the following methods may be used:
• Medication therapy (ovulation induction)
• Intrauterine insemination (IUI)
• In vitro fertilization (IVF / ICSI)
Each couple's journey is unique, and treatment plans are personalized.
The ultimate goal is not only achieving pregnancy but also guiding couples toward a healthy and fulfilling family life.
